SAUZON Butcher Block — Square

The SAUZON Square is the collection’s most concentrated piece — the full icebox vocabulary compressed into a single sixty-centimetre cube. One cupboard with a fixed central shelf and one soft-close drawer with a signature shell-shaped handle: the storage is minimal but precise, designed for a kitchen that values order over excess.

The cupboard door can be configured to open to the left by default (right opening on demand), a detail that transforms the piece from a standard block into a site-specific solution — tucked into an alcove, flanking a range, or standing sentinel at the end of a counter. The fixed worktop is available in solid hornbeam end-grain or white Quartz Unique Calacatta from Compac Surface with the same finish and hardware palette as every SAUZON piece.

Crafted in solid and veneered oak wood with cast aluminium, zinc alloy, and chromed brass hardware, the Square is finished in Blond Oak, any of four De Kercoet lacquer colors or personalized color upon request. The belt is rendered in Blond Oak finish. An optional knife holder adds a functional accent and made-to-measure dimensions are available upon demand.

At 60 × 60 × 90 cm, the SAUZON Square proves that the smallest footprint in the collection carries the same gravitas as the largest. It is a piece for kitchens, pantries, dining rooms, and bars where space is limited but character is not.
