HOËDIC Kitchen Island — Large

HOËDIC draws from the memory of 19th-century trade furniture — those workshop pieces, massive and precise, built to outlast those who commissioned them. The Kitchen Island Large is the fullest expression of this heritage: a piece conceived as living furniture, equally at home in a private kitchen or a professional establishment.

The generous worktop combines hornbeam end-grain wood blocks with white Quartz Unique Calacatta de Compac Surface — a pairing that serves both beauty and function. End-grain absorbs knife strikes without yielding; stone provides a cool, hygienic surface for pastry and preparation. Below, five double-sided drawers on wood glides and two cupboards with central shelving offer seamless access from either face of the island.

Built in solid and veneered European oak wood the structure is assembled with mortise-and-tenon joints. Brushed brass or chrome stainless steel hardware punctuates each drawer and door with quiet authority. The belt is finished in Blond Oak; the body is available in four De Kercoet lacquer colors, Blond Oak or personalized color upon request.
