SAINT OUEN « Le » Butcher Block Trolley
SAINT OUEN « Le » Butcher Block Trolley
Neither trolley nor butcher block alone, but a third thing entirely. A raised solid hornbeam end-grain slab crowns a curved body on casters — the SAINT OUEN answer to a kitchen piece that cuts, serves, and moves with equal conviction.

SAINT OUEN « Le » Butcher Block Trolley
Description
The SAINT OUEN « Le » Butcher Block Trolley occupies a category of its own. Its thick, raised hornbeam end-grain top sits proudly above the structure — a deliberate elevation that recalls the gravitas of a traditional boucher’s block while retaining the mobility and lightness of a service cart. It is a piece that takes its work seriously and its aesthetics playfully.
Below the block, a soft-close drawer keeps essential tools within reach. An optional second drawer at the rear converts the piece into a double-sided mini island, making it as functional in the centre of a room as against a wall. On casters, it rolls from prep station to dining room without ceremony; a fixed-leg version at the same height is available for those who prefer permanent placement.
Crafted in solid and veneered beech wood with a solid hornbeam end-grain worktop — just the honest resilience of a wood chosen for its density and self-healing properties — the « Le » Butcher Block embodies SAINT OUEN’s conviction that the finest materials need no embellishment. Four De Kercoet finishes or personalized color upon request and Brushed Brass or Polished Stainless Steel hardware complete the piece.
At 90 × 60 × 91 cm, it occupies the same footprint as the SAINT OUEN Trolley but with a fundamentally different character: where the Trolley offers a choice of surfaces, « Le » commits entirely to wood. A towel bar and made-to-measure options are available upon request.
