HOËDIC Bookcase - Height 235 cm

HOËDIC takes its name from a Breton island and its cue from the ateliers that once furnished provincial estates — pieces built to serve for generations, where function and dignity are the same thing. The Bookcase is the collection’s sentinel: a commanding silhouette that anchors a dining room, a library, or a grand salon with the assurance of solid craft and noble materials.

Four glass-panelled doors reveal interior shelves arranged for display — porcelain, glassware, collected volumes — while two full-panel cupboards below conceal what demands discretion. Between them, three soft-close drawers provide organised storage for linens, silver, or correspondence. The interior is finished in Blond Oak, creating a warm, tonal contrast that frames every object placed within.

This 235 cm bookcase adapts to period rooms with high ceilings or more intimate contemporary spaces. LED shelf lighting transforms it into a vitrine after dark, turning everyday objects into a curated exhibition. The structure is crafted in solid and veneered oak wood for a unified wood expression.

4 De Kercoet exterior lacquer finishes range from Prussian Blue to Snow, blond oak or personalized color upon request. Hardware in Brushed Brass or Polished Stainless Steel completes a piece that is, at its core, a portrait of the home it inhabits.
