MARIUS Island Stool
MARIUS Island Stool
The same sculptural simplicity as the MARIUS Bar Stool, calibrated for kitchen island height. A solid wood companion to every De Kercoet island — and to the unhurried mornings spent around them.

MARIUS Island Stool
Description
Conceived as the natural counterpart to De Kercoet’s kitchen islands, the MARIUS Island Stool brings the same understated elegance as its bar-height sibling to the heart of the kitchen. At 65 cm, it is precisely sized for island-height counters — the kind of seat from which you watch a sauce reduce, share a glass while someone cooks, or linger over breakfast long after the coffee has cooled.
The construction is identical to the Bar Stool and equally uncompromising: 100% solid oak turned legs, hand-fitted joints. No shortcuts, no composite materials, no upholstery to mask the work. The seat’s gentle concavity provides natural comfort; the four curved legs ensure stability even on uneven floors.
The seat is finished in Blond Oak, while the legs may be dressed in any of De Kercoet’s four signature lacquer colors, kept in full Blond Oak for a unified wood expression or personalized colors upon request.
Like all MARIUS pieces, the Island Stool is a celebration of the shared moment: light enough to pull up for an unexpected guest, solid enough to serve for generations.
