HOËDIC Square Butcher Block

The HOËDIC Square Butcher Block is the collection’s most intimate standing piece. Where the HOËDIC islands and trolleys serve from the centre of a room, the Square takes its place against a wall, beside a range, or in a pantry alcove — a fixed anchor of workshop character in a footprint barely larger than a dining chair.

A single soft-close drawer holds everyday tools, while a cupboard with a central shelf stores what you prefer out of sight. The door opens to the right or left, configured at the time of order to suit your layout. The worktop is available in solid hornbeam end-grain for a traditional cutting surface or white quartz Unique Calacatta from Compac Surface.

Crafted in solid and veneered oak wood with brass hardware, the Square Butcher Block is offered in 4 De Kercoet lacquer colors, Blond Oak finish or personalized color upon request. Hardware in Brushed Brass or Polished Stainless Steel adds the HOËDIC collection’s signature warmth. Optional additions — a towel bar, a knife holder — extend functionality without compromising the piece’s clean lines. 

At 60 × 60 × 90 cm, the HOËDIC Square occupies the smallest footprint in the standing-block range yet delivers the same artisanal precision and material integrity as the collection’s largest pieces. It is the butcher block for corners, niches, and spaces that deserve more than an afterthought.
