CANCALE - Rectangular Butcher Block
Description
CANCALE celebrates the beauty of the essential — and the Rectangular Butcher Block is its most distilled expression. At just 68 cm wide and 40 cm deep, it slips into galley kitchens, narrow alcoves, or alongside an existing counter, bringing artisanal character to spaces that more generous pieces cannot reach.
The removable hornbeam end-grain chopping board — fitted with side grooves for easy lifting — provides a dense, self-healing cutting surface that professional chefs trust. Below, a single soft-close drawer with a signature handle keeps essentials in quiet order. The clean, unadorned silhouette is pure CANCALE: frank lines, balanced volumes, nothing superfluous.
The structure is built in solid and veneered beechwood, with oak available upon request. The belt is finished in Vieux Bois C02; the body in your choice of 4 De Kercoet lacquer colors or personalized color upon request. Hardware in brushed brass or chrome stainless steel. Optional castors allow the block to move where the moment demands.
Whether used as a dedicated prep station, a landing surface beside a cooktop, or a compact serving piece in a dining room, the CANCALE Rectangular Butcher Block proves that constraint breeds character.
